stopSuite was born in 2013 when our curbside composting business couldn't find software that actually worked. As a developer who drove these routes daily, we faced the ongoing challenges of managing logistics, routing, billing, and customer service firsthand.
Instead of cobbling together partial solutions, we built what the industry was missing—a comprehensive platform designed specifically for hauling operations.
What began as our internal tool has evolved into stopSuite—now helping over 100 hauling companies nationwide streamline their business.
Meet our Team
Brent (Founder + Developer)
Brent is an industry pioneer with over a decade of experience, having co-founded Community Composting in Rochester, NY in 2013. As the company's primary driver in its early years, Brent gained firsthand operational knowledge while simultaneously developing a software platform to manage collections, impact tracking, routing, customer support, and billing.
When other haulers expressed interest in this technology, Brent launched stopSuite as a standalone solution. Today, stopSuite serves over 100 collection companies across North America and more than 180,000 end users. Brent continues to innovate at the intersection of sustainable waste management and technology, helping haulers scale and increase efficiency.
Beadle (Developer)
Beadle is a co-founder of Compost Nashville, a software developer, and an all-around fun guy. Beadle joined stopSuite in 2024 after using the platform for his own business. When he’s not coding, you’ll likely find him chasing after his kids, spinning around a contra dance floor, or hitting the pickleball court. He’s all about balancing tech, sustainability, and fun. What's not to love?!
Jess (Customer Support)
Jess was a co-owner of Community Composting, which is how she got started in the stopSuite world. While she was a supporter of the platform from the beginning, she didn’t join the stopSuite team until 2024. When she's not crossing things off her to-do list, she's likely hunting for treasures at a thrift store or taking her dogs for a walk.
