Every route in stopSuite has a live map, and that map just picked up a powerful new tool: area selection with instant service totals. Click the polygon tool in the map toolbar, click around any cluster of stops, and close the shape. Every stop inside it lights up, and a Service Totals button appears showing exactly how many stops you captured.
Click that button and stopSuite breaks the selection down for you: total stops, plus expected and actual quantities for every service type inside the area you drew. If you run a trash hauling or compost pickup business and have ever wondered how much you are actually collecting on one street or in one subdivision, you can now answer it in about ten seconds. No filters to build, no spreadsheet exports, no counting pins by hand.
The shape stays editable, too. Drag any point to adjust it, undo a click while you are drawing, or clear it and start over. Dispatchers ask these questions constantly when planning route changes, quoting a new neighborhood, or deciding whether a street belongs on Tuesday or Thursday, and now the answer lives right on the route map.
A Smarter End of Route Summary Email
When a driver closes out a route, stopSuite emails a summary to your team. That summary now leads with a color coded status bar that shows the shape of the day at a glance, followed by a breakdown of every stop status with counts and percentages, so you can tell a clean sweep from a day that needs follow up before you even scroll. Metric cards cover start and end times, time on route, distance, odometer, and speed, and a single click opens any incomplete driver actions already filtered to that route so a dispatcher can resolve them in bulk.
Both updates are live now for every stopSuite client. If you are evaluating route management software for your waste collection or compost business, explore the full set of stopSuite features or see how haulers put it to work on our waste collection page.
